Lena McKenzie Bio

Lena McKenzie is a classically-trained singer, events host and theatre actress who provides a new vibrancy to popular music and enduring classics. She graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Music, Major in Voice from the University of the Philippines. Her angelic voice has brought her to stages all over the Philippines and beyond.

Lena’s theatre credits include the title role of Lakme, in Delibes’ renowned opera (University of the Philippines College of Music, 2014); the lead role of Mary in the musical “Song of Joseph” during its 2010 American tour; Maria Clara in Tanghalang Pilipino’s Noli Me Tangere, Johanna in Repertory Philippines’ Sweeney Todd and several productions for the Musical Theatre Foundation of the Philippines and the Philippine Opera Company.

In 2011, Lena attended the prestigious Manhattan School of Music Summer Voice Festival in New York City. She also performed in New York City as a featured soloist at the Aurus Mindanao Philippine Cultural Exposition (Time Warner Center) and the Philippine Independence Day Ball (Hilton Hotel, New York).
